Sandblasting is perhaps the most effective
abrasive technique that is open to you, and has a huge variety
of different applications. Thanks to the way that a stream
of air carrying some form of abrasive particles such as grit
or garnet is used, sandblasting can be used to strip almost
any shape of surface of almost any form of coating. One of
the great advantages of this technique for an industrial or
workshop application is that it relies on your existing compressed
air system, and requires a small number of additional components
such as a sandblasting pot to enable you to carry out a full
range of blast work.
